Our Outreach Center is a ministry that gives away clothing, hygiene items, and household items for FREE. We are open on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to Noon.
If you would like to shop at our Outreach Center, you can just show up on Saturday morning!
If you would like to donate to our Outreach Center, there are a few ways you can do so:
- If you just have a few bags or boxes, they will most likely fit in our brown bin outside the main entrance. If this bin is full however, PLEASE do not put items on top or beside it. Often times our coordinators and volunteers cannot visit every single day to process donations, so in case of inclement weather, items can be damaged or blown away.
- If you have a larger donation amount or the bin is full, you can contact our church office at 618-594-3489. If it is outside of office hours or we are out running errands, please leave a detailed voicemail with the kind of items you would like to donate. Someone will contact you in regards to your donation and setting up a drop-off time.
- You can come on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to Noon when the Outreach Center is open to the public.
We accept the following items:
- Clothing (no stains, rips, or holes)
- Shoes
- Jewelry/Accessories
- Toys
- Food
- Kitchen/Household items (pots, pans, utensils, cups, mugs, dishes, etc.)
- Small appliances in working condition (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, etc.)
- Books, CDs, DVDs, etc. (preferably no VHS or cassette tapes)
- Decorations (preferably in season)
We do NOT accept the following items due to lack of storage space:
- Large furniture (couches, bedroom sets, entertainment centers, etc.)
- Large appliances (washer/dryer, refrigerator, etc.)
